Our NFL expert gives you his week 16 Fantasy Football Free Agent Picks!
My team is a sinking ship. Unfortunately, I don’t have any stars to help keep it afloat and I’ve been trying to ride out too many lower level guys. Hopefully you guys are having better luck than me in fantasy football playoffs!
QB – Sam Darnold NYJ
Darnold hasn’t had a particularly productive season. He performed well last week against Houston’s defense and this week takes on GB at home. GB’s defense hasn’t been particularly productive this season either. Home field against a middle of the pack defense, Darnold will have a productive game.
RB – Latavius Murray MIN
Murray is a big name, but a lot of owners abandoned him after the Vikings abandoned the run game. He’s only owned in 40% of ESPN leagues. After a coaching shake-up, the Vikings seemed to recommitted to the run game.
WR – Chris Conley KC
Conley has had a couple productive games this year. This week the Chiefs take on Seattle on the road. CenturyLink is a tough place to play, but the Seahawks defense has given up huge numbers to dynamic offenses. Last week the Seahawks were blowing coverages left and right against the 49ers. I don’t expect them to clean that up before their match-up this week.
D/ST – Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis’ defense has played ok this season, but they have been playing well lately. This week they face the Giants at home. They may be able to have a good week, as long as they keep Barkley under control.
Good luck out there this week. Hopefully you’ll still be in it the mix next week!
